Pregnancy bleeding?

Pregnancy bleeding?
After two positive pregnancy tests, I started to get the usual preggo symptoms… i.e. nausea and fatigue. However, Since last week I’ve been lightly, but consistently, spotting. I haven’t gone to a doctor yet– yeah yeah I know I need to. Has anyone ever spotted over a span of of 5 or more days without miscarrying?

Spotting in early pregnancy is quite normal. But do make sure you contact your caregiver when bleeding occurs it might be a sign of miscarriage.

Are you just spotting or is it more like a period thing. If its more like a period, then your proably miscarring, but spottting you should be alright, but you really need to consult with a doctor.

Some women spot throughout their whole first trimester. Bleeding does not always equal miscarriage. Miscarriage is nature’s way of taking care of babies who probably wouldn’t survive to birth anyway. The only bleeding you should be concerned about is heavy bright red blood.

on my first child I had a period every month for the first 3 months,I new I was pregnant on the first month but since I was young I didn’t know that was not normal until I asked a friend who had kids and she said I was not pregnant because I would have my period @ the same time every month.I went & did a blood test & sure enough I was pregnant so they put me in the hospital for observation & stopped my bleeding , Now I have a 21year old daughter, so if I where you I will go to the Dr. to get checked ASAP! Just to be in the safe side.

    Hello,
I’m guessing you’re still early in your pregnancy? In the beginning it is normal for women to have some light spotting. I did not have spotting in the beginning but at about 27 weeks in to my pregnancy I started to bleed…not just light spotting. I was terrified and went to the hospital. They checked the health of my baby and everything was perfectly normal. They came back with no reason as to why I was bleeding. I ended up bleeding for about a week or two. I had a perfectly healthy boy at 41 weeks. So, sometimes bleeding is bad and sometimes it’s nothing. Either way..it is terrifying and the only thing that will make you feel at ease it to see a doctor..which you already know. So, good luck to you and try not to stress too much.

Spotting during early pregnancy is usually from implantation bleeding. If you’re not having any severe pain/cramps then I wouldn’t worry too much. But definately consult your doctor about this.
