Teen Pregnancy, please help me!?
Ok, help! I missed my period, so i went and took a pregnancy test and it came up positive. Im so freaked out, i never in a million years thought id end up having a teen pregnancy. Im 14 and going to be a freshmen next year so id have to start out school with a big fat tummy. I have only told the father of the baby. He is happy and says we are going to get through this. But im not so sure…i no nothing about being pregnant. So i have a couple questions:
-How did you tell your parents?
-How did your parents react?
-When do you start showing?
-When do you start getting morning sickness?

We did i was on the pill and we used a condom, but the condom broke and i had just switched pills…

You are brave. I wish I could give you some advice, but I don’t have any first hand experience. Take pre-natal vitamins and go see a doctor. Just wanted to wish you a safe pregnancy and good luck in the future.

I can’t really answer them questions at this time considering I have never been pregnant.
I think that morning sickness can start anytime from now && last until your 2nd trimester..although, sometimes I hear that it last through the whole pregnancy..

I don’t have any advice either.. go to a parent planning place? and get some leaflets?

Well Im guessing your parents are probably going to be mad, then disappointed. And Im glad your keeping your baby. It just depends on you if you get morning sickness, you’ll soon know. Tell your parents right away because they will have to be there for doctor appointments ETC. The longer you wait to tell them the harder and more difficult it will be for everyone. As for when you will show, It can vary with many women. Normally a woman begins to show when she is about 4 months along, but it just depends, some women don’t start to show until they are 6 months along even, but a majority of women begin to show at about 3-4 months along. Lastly i wish you luck, and alot of questions can be answered when you google teen pregnancy.
I don’t care what anybody says because you may be really young, but that doesn’t mean that u won’t make it thru this. And u WERE on protection. TWO DIFFERENT KINDS. Even when somebody as young as u get pregnant, i hate it when all anybody can say is wear a condom next time. That wasn’t even er questions. You may be very young, but i know that if u are strong, u will make it thru it. Anyways, I haven’t gotten pregnant yet (im almost 18) but when u tell er parents, just be straight up with them. The sooner the better because eventually they will have to find out and the longer that u wait, the madder they may be. Different parent’s react differently. Depending on your parent’s, they may be glad that u told them, yet they may be angry at you. But they will realize that u need them to be there. They can’t stay angry forever right? I know that my sister started showing around 2 months with a little tummy. I don’t know when u start getting signs, but im sure its only about a month after conceived if even that long. Btw, don’t listen to anybody when they try and make a big deal about it. You made a mistake and you can’t take it back. But in the end i bet that it will be the best damn thing that has ever happened to you. Just be more careful next time.

-It really depends on the parents…and what kind of teenagers they were. If their religious they tend to be judgemental and self-righteous. But if they weren’t perfect they’ll be more understanding.
When do you start showing?
-Again it depends on body type and genes. I’m 5’11 and thin so about 4 months it was more obvious but the shorter you are the sooner it shows.
When do you start getting morning sickness?
4 weeks ish
I’m 23…not 14 and I have a beautiful 2 year old girl. Trust me, its tough but you’ll never regret it.

well first of all its really stressful. i was pregnant my senior year and i missed out on a lot. i was too scared to tell my parents so my bf’s parents told my mom. my mom kind of knew. but she was very hurt and disappointed.i started showing at 5 months. as far as morning sickness it started when i was 3 months and it only lasted one month. good luck! and congratulations.!

I’m not sure where you live but where I am there are a few schools for pregnant teens/teen moms. Try getting informed on that see if there are any community centers in your area for young mothers.
When I told my parents I started by pointing out how we were using protection, I think that helped.
My mothere went into denial for a week and kept suggesting abortion and after two weeks she was buying baby stuff.
Everyone shows at different times most start showing around 3 months, I started showing around 5/6 months (I’m also very small)
I had morning sickness since I was 2/3 weeks pregnant. usually it starts around two months but a lot of people don’t even get it.
Buy the ‘what to expect when you’re expecting’ book. It was a life saver, helped answer all my questions and has all the info you need to know, it’s only 15 or 20$ and there is also whattoexpect.com I suggest you go there and make an account they have a young mothers board and also have boards for the month you’re due so that you can talk to people as far along as you are.

so obviously you dont know anything about pregnancy so maybe you shouldnt of had sex in the first place (even if this wasnt planned, before havng sex you should have already considered that you could get pregnant by having sex duh!!) so yeah good luck with all that. btw wtf ur 14 and on birth control!!!
