You don’t produce actual ‘milk’ until the baby comes. It’s actually called colostrum, has all the nutrients your baby needs until your milk comes in a few days after.
But it can start at any time (or not until the end). This time it started at..25-ish weeks, I think. Last time it came in at 20 weeks or so. :)

I think as soon as you get pregnant your breasts begin to get ready, but by 20 weeks, I had to wear nursing pads all the time because mine would leak so bad!

None. You don’t actually produce milk until after you have the baby, but you can produce and leak colostrum while pregnant. [that's what your baby will eat if breastfed until your milk comes in] You can actually start leaking as soon as you find out you’re pregnant but it’s generally closer to the third trimester when your body starts preparing for labor. I’m 39 weeks though and haven’t leaked anything yet though…

You don”t produce milk till after the baby is born – not while you are pregnant. Your breast get bigger because of hormones and colostrum. Colostrum feeds your newborn. It’s not milk, it’s a clear liquid. After a few days after birth your milk comes in…and trust me, you will notice!

I know I was getting a bit of colostrum in the shower by 35 weeks

Unless you are already breastfeeding during pregnancy, you do not produce milk. Colostrum is a pre-milk substance rich in antibodoes, and usually begins production in the 3rd trimester.
